The Expert Advice Forum, is where you can ask questions, post answers to questions, search for questions both open and closed based on certain selection criteria like general and specific functional expertise, and industry experience.

When you post a question you assign some time credits to the question. This time credit goes to the person whose answer you accept. In case of more than one answer being accepted the time credit is split equally. When you accept an answer you will also be required to rate the answer.

An Advice rating is arrived at for the expert answering the question. 
It is the sum of the product of time credits for the questions answered and the rating given to the corresponding answers, divided by the sum of the time credits of the questions answered.

When you answer a question, and the answer is accepted you gain time credits and get an advice rating.
